As we draw close to the end of 2023, I find myself reflecting on the incredible journey we’ve undertaken this year at SEAL Future Foundation. It’s been a year of remarkable achievements, growth, and, most importantly, impactful service. As a former Navy SEAL and the CEO of this resilient organization, I’m filled with immense pride and gratitude for what we’ve accomplished together.
A Year of Impact and Growth
2023 stands out as our most successful year yet, marked by significant strides in our core pillars – health, career, education, and community. Our commitment to these areas has tangibly improved the lives of many SEALs and their families. Here are a few highlights:
- Health: Our health programs have been a cornerstone, offering vital resources to SEALs. From mental health support to physical wellness initiatives, we’ve ensured that the holistic well-being of our SEALs is always a priority. These resources have been instrumental in aiding their transition and maintaining their resilience in civilian life.
- Career: The career development programs have been pivotal in guiding SEALs through the intricate process of transitioning to civilian careers. We’ve offered tailored guidance, mentorship, and networking opportunities, facilitating their journey into fulfilling and impactful civilian roles. Our efforts here are not just about job placement, but about empowering SEALs to find careers that resonate with their skills and passions.
- Education: Education is a gateway to opportunity, and we’ve embraced this by providing extensive educational support and resources. Whether it’s further formal education, skill development, or certifications, we’ve unlocked doors for SEALs to continue their growth, exploration, and professional development in the civilian world.
- Community: Our focus on community building has nurtured a robust and supportive network for SEALs and their families. By fostering strong connections and a sense of belonging, we’ve created a thriving environment where the spirit of brotherhood continues to flourish. Our community initiatives serve as a testament to the enduring bond and mutual support among SEALs, even after their military service.
These pillars have been the bedrock of our success, directly impacting the lives of SEALs. In terms of growth, we’re proud to report that over 80% of every dollar raised has been directly channeled into these areas, reflecting our unwavering commitment to making every contribution count towards the betterment of our SEAL community.

The coming year, 2024, is shaping up to be even more exciting. We are poised to expand our impact, strengthen our network, and build deeper connections with our stakeholders. Our focus remains steadfast on empowering Navy SEALs to transition their exceptional skills, discipline, and service ethos into roles that benefit our local communities and society at large.
Service Beyond the Uniform
It’s an honor to serve alongside the SEAL community, witnessing first hand their unwavering commitment to service. Our SEALs, who have stood as pillars of leadership and problem-solving in the most challenging environments, are now channeling these qualities into our communities. Their transition from military service to community leadership is a journey that we’re proud to support.
